OBSERVATIONS
Please note there are no observations this term. The last class of term is the 3rd of April.MARBLE HILL 1ST SCHOOL SHOW!!
I have booked the Arthur Cottrell studio theatre at Kingston College for our 1st school show and rehearsals on Friday the 3rd and Saturday the 4th December 2010. I'm very excited about this but I require as much help as possible from parents as I can find!To make this event a success I need CRB checked chaperones, make up and hair doers; also if anyone has costume making skills, set designing, stage management or technical skills please let me know.
CONGRATULATIONS
Robyn Holder, one of the first students here at Marble Hill and now assistant teacher at Chelsea Ballet Schools and Marble Hill Dance Studio has been awarded places at contemporary dance schools Laban and the Place to study her degree. Robyn has chosen the Place and will start her training there in September.RICHDANCE

The date for the 2nd annual Summer School is the 16th – 20th August. Our junior summer school for 5 to 8 years will run from 9am – 12pm and our senior 9 – 15yrs from 1 – 5pm. Please email should you like a place.More information to follow.
FEES
Please note there is NO increase in session fees this term; however spring term was a total of 11 weeks summer term has 13.DISCOUNTS CAN ONLY BE APPLIED TO FEES PAID BY THE DUE DATE WHICH IS 19th APRIL 2010
PRIMARY CLASS AWARD
I am still waiting for dates to be confirmed for this award.ISTD TAP & MODERN EXAMS
These examinations will take place in June or July at the Imperial Society’s head quarters in Old Street, North London. Children from Primary Tap, Grade 1 modern, Grade 2 Modern and Grade 3 Tap & Modern are to be entered.We must timetable an extra class for exam candidates from Grade 2 modern and Grade 3 Tap & Modern. These have to be scheduled for a Friday evening from 6 – 6.45 for Grade 2 and 6.45 – 7.45 for Grade 3.
UNIFORM
Please ensure your child is appropriately dressed to dance. I still have children without correct shoes and leotards, this is no longer acceptable.Please also make sure your child has their hair up in a pony tail away from the face or in a bun for babies to Pre primary. A bun must be worn for Grades 1 upwards.
